Aine Rynne is an artist based in Miltown Malbay, West Clare.
She has a BA in Film and TV from GMIT, 2004, and a MA in Screenwriting from NUIG, 2006. She also holds a Post Graduate Certificate in Innovation & Entrepreneurship (UCD, 2014/2015) and a Post Graduate Diploma in Business, Cultural & Event Management (IADT, 2015/16)
Her work is primarily concerned with landscape and sea, in particular the diverse colours, hues and tones seen around West Clare all year round. She also has a distinctly Celtic style with swirls and motifs reminiscent of ancient Celtic art. She uses acrylic paint and oil pastels primarily to create bold, vibrant, and eye-catching colorful abstract designs on paper and canvas. She has also replicated her designs to use on cushion covers, cotton tote bags, and greeting cards.
She participated in the Hush Hush group exhibition at the Mountshannon Arts Festival in aid of Clare Haven and Every Child Ireland in November, 2021 at the Scariff Library Gallery
