Clare LocAl Studies Project (CLASP) was founded to develop awareness of and increase access to sources for local studies in county Clare.
To accompany the launch of their fourth major publication, ‘The Antiquities of Clare, 1839,’ in 1997, CLASP produced an exhibition containing extracts and information pertaining to the book. This information was grouped into the following categories: General background information, Churches, Castles, Legends & Folklore and Placenames.
The exhibition featured twelve watercolour paintings of archaeological sites in County Clare by Imelda Greene.
