The artwork is a modern illustration of a rook and a crow against a blue sky with clouds. This work highlights the local ecology of the area and there is a rookery right across the road in the graveyard of St Flannan’s Cathedral. This work will add to the growing artwork on Royal Parade, last year thanks to PRISM we were able to install the artwork of King Brian Ború. This is all fitting as Tidy Towns Killaloe’s tagline is “Killaloe – Where Nature meets Heritage”
