Irish history is usually boiled down to just three things; Cromwell, The Famine and 1916. In this talk, we’ll take a quick look at all the other stuff that happened with an entertaining slideshow.

About the Speaker:

Colm Liddy is author of several books on local history. He has a regular slot on Clare FM where he discusses the history of Co. Clare in ten-minute installments. So far, he’s only got as far as 1318 AD, so there’s loads more to come. He also posts about our history on Facebook/ X under the name ‘Long Ago in County Clare’.
