Clare Arts Office in conjunction with the Clare Museum is delighted to present “Colours in the Landscape” art exhibition by Artist Christopher Quinn.
Christopher, an Ennis native, stumbled into landscape photography by chance. With no formal tuition or training, he carved his own path. He says “I was fortunate to travel regularly, some trips I was more engaged than others. I was always looking for the best way to record my trips. I decided to invest in the best camera I could afford and then I noticed I needed a tripod, and all that goes with it.”
Inspired by Charlie Waite, Theo Bosboom, Sandra Bartocha and Thomas Heaton, Christopher built up a collection of landscape images. “Seven years later I find myself ready to exhibit some of my collection”, he adds. Bringing this exhibit “Colours in the Landscape” to my hometown of Ennis is a dream come true! This is a collection of work largely captured in Co. Clare with some from recent travels abroad.
This wonderful exhibition is free of charge and runs from 10th October to 10th November, 2023 and everyone is welcome!
