Book free places for Limerick Printmakers DRYPOINT & CHINE COLLÉ WORKSHOP at Súil – an ideal creative experience for ages 10 – 12 years

Limerick Printmakers are delighted to partner with the phenomenal new gallery Súil in offering printmaking workshops for a range of ages as part of its program of events for its current exhibition RISK/ REWARD, which celebrates 25 years of the studio.

Book a place for the children in your life (ages 10 – 12 years only*) on our free drypoint & chine collé workshop this July. This workshop, delivered by Limerick Printmakers studio members/ artists Sibéal Riordan & Lara Grufferty (whose work features in the RISK/ REWARD exhibition) will see kids transform their line drawings & tracings into their very own print, which they can further personalise with coloured papers.Zero previous experience in printmaking is required & the focus is on fun, creativity, and enjoying this beautiful public artistic space in the heart of Ennis.Parents do not need to stay for the duration of the workshop, our team will take care of everything!

• IMPORTANT: Please do not book any child younger than 10 years old into this workshop as for a portion of the workshop the kids will be using sharp implements. While they will be shown how to use them safely & will be fully supervised at all times, Limerick Printmakers policy (based on two decades of direct experience) does not permit the use of such tools with those aged under 10 years.

Limerick Printmakers (est. 1999) is an artist studio & resource organisation with approx. 70 studio member/ artists that for over two decades, has proudly delivered immersive & interactive learning and social experiences to and for children, young adults, and adults through printmaking, across a wide range of settings.

SÚIL: ACCESSIBILITY

• There are toilets and a changing places toilet in Clare County Library which is in the same building, with adult changing table and shower.

• Súil also has an accommodation station with Ear defenders, reading glasses and fidget toys.
