Explore experimental silkscreen printmaking with Limerick Printmakers & learn more about how the silkscreen prints in Limerick Printmakers RISK/ REWARD exhibition were made in this enjoyable free workshop at Súil.

Súil & Limerick Printmakers welcomes young adults aged 13 to 16 years to sign up for a free creative workshop where zero previous experience in printmaking is required. Delivered by RISK/ REWARD artist Ultan McAvinue & LP director Jess Tobin, this workshop will see participants learning basic silkscreen skills, exploring some fun, playful screen techniques (including monoprint silkscreen, foiling, & layering) & making some great art.

Limerick Printmakers (est. 1999) is an artist studio & resource organisation with approx. 70 studio member/ artists that for over two decades, has proudly delivered immersive & interactive learning and social experiences to and for children, young adults, and adults through printmaking, across a wide range of settings.

  • There are toilets and a changing places toilet in Clare County Library which is in the same building, with adult changing table and shower.
