Clare Arts Office in conjunction with the Clare Museum is delighted to present “Where you are, there is Heaven”. The concept of the exhibition is the conviction of the artist that where there is love, feelings and understanding inside of us, there is Heaven. Before asking God about something, the artist invites you to get to know yourself and your inner world. To find answers, when to fight, and when to accept the Will of God. Own your intuition, own Heaven, this will show the way to action.
Lyudmila Sikorska was born in Ukraine. She settled in Ireland in 2015. Sikorska showed her talent for fine arts from early childhood. The talent blossomed to its full extent in adulthood. Today, painting is the artist’s passion. She works primarily in oils. Her preference is given to landscapes and still life. Sikorska says, “I am an artist with a natural talent who has had a formal medical and legal education.”
For a long time, the artist combined professional work with artistic self-education. She took private lessons from masters in Ukraine, Ireland, and Slovakia. Sikorska’s works are mainly in private collections in Ukraine, Ireland, Slovakia, Poland, Hungary, New Zealand, and the USA.
In 2022, the artist’s painting “PRAYER FOR UKRAINE” which was recognised at an international exhibition in Luxembourg.
The artist’s most recent exhibition took place in 2022 in Ennis, Co. Clare, Ireland.
This wonderful exhibition is free of charge and runs from 23rd May to 23rd June, 2023 and everyone is welcome!
