Clare Arts Office in conjunction with the Clare Museum is delighted to present “Meanderings of a Colourful Mind” a collaborative painting exhibition by Marja van Kampen, Olivia O’Keeffe and Martina Furlong. What makes this a particularly strong collaboration is the elements that unite these three women artists as well as their differences.
Firstly, all three are pure Colourists with a clear fascination for the relationships between colours. They have a natural ability to create a certain mood and intensity by optimizing the effect of colours through their placement.
Secondly, all three artists are refreshingly playful in both their paint application and their imaginative depictions. These landscapes of the imagination emanate a sense of freedom and fun. The three artists have a very distinct and unique style and method of self-expression and yet they harmonize amazingly well together.
This wonderful exhibition is free of charge and runs from 19th December, 2023 to 26th January, 2024. Everyone is welcome!
