Clare, Limerick and Tipperary County Council Arts Offices proudly presents this VAI webinar: Being an ethical Artist in a challenging world.

As emotionally aware, creative individuals we’re impacted by the Climate Emergency. In a revised and updated talk, John Thorne from Glasgow School of Art returns to help us gain perspective on the environmental crises facing humanity, working with change and exploring the connections between creativity, society, culture and economy.

We can respond positively through the materials we use, how we exhibit, travel and live, and we can become more aware of how our practice emotionally connects ourselves and others to nature and the actions we can take.

There will be an opportunity for discussion after the talk.

John Thorne has been working at Glasgow School of Art since 2013. Over 20 years he has sought to promote how professionals of any discipline can usefully address the Climate Emergency and improve our society.

You will be emailed a link to the event in the confirmation email you receive after you have registered. This is a Free online event for Clare, Limerick and Tipperary artists.
