Visual Artists Café: Introducing… The Midwest is the first in a programme of online events in this series in collaboration with Clare, Limerick and Tipperary County & City Council Arts offices that aims to shine a spotlight on Visual Arts practice in the Midwest platforming artists, organisations and infrastructure through events and learning.
This Visual Artists’ Cafe will showcase examples of key stakeholders within the Midwest Visual Arts community. On the day we will meet representatives from established practices, institutions and organisations allowing the participant to explore the visual arts landscape of opportunities within the Midwest, examples including; venues, galleries, studios, artists, educational institutions and representatives from Clare, Limerick and Tipperary County & City Council Arts offices .
This visual artists café is aims to facilitate Midwest based artists who wish to wish to find out more about local support infrastructure, and interested artists from across Ireland who are broadening their understanding of the visual arts sector as a whole.
