I am a visual artist, and a project manager located in Co. Clare.
I was born and raised in Wroclaw, Poland, and moved to Ireland in 2006.
I have an MA in International Relations, and come from an art focused background, which influenced and stimulated my artistic pursuits.
My primary creative interest is photography. I find joy in capturing both representational and abstract photos. My favourite subjects are nature, landscapes, everyday objects, and architecture. I use images to show the sheer beauty of the subjects or to speak about broader issues and life in general. Many of my photographs involve minimum retouch, and others are products of creative experiments I like doing with my works.
Exhibitions:
Exhibition at Clare Museum in Ennis (Foyer area), May 6-17, 2025 (two-artists exhibition). Featuring my nature, landscape, and abstract photography.
Exhibition project: “Remember the Gardens, It’s Where We Came From”, at Clare Museum in Ennis (activity room area), May 6-17, 2025. I curated this exhibition and invited an artist, an art and craft workshop facilitator, and workshop participants to talk through art about the importance of gardens in our lives. The exhibition included my photography of plants, gardens, birds, and bees. I also organised the art and craft workshop series, which took place at Clare Museum from March 29 to May 2, 2025, prior to the exhibition.
Exhibition project: “Growing with Art”, at Clare Museum in Ennis (stairs area), May 6-17, 2025. My project aimed at showing stages in children’s art development, from first attempts to teenage years. The project was inspired by my personal admiration for kids’ art and their ability to picture and express everything they want in a few simple lines. It was an amazing experience for me to see my children go through the stages. Another motive behind the project involved the social aspect: I personally met people of various nationalities and backgrounds, who had never allowed their children to use paints and brushes at home, for fear of untidiness. My intention for the exhibition was to show that with small beginnings and going up along the stairs’ gallery, kids’ art grows to achieve beautiful results.
In the past, my photography was used for the cover and in the body of a promotional material for a small museum of Native American Culture in Poland.
