Brenda is a self taught mosaic artist, using earthy and natural found materials, shaping and moulding them into an abstract representation of nature. The primary materials used are stone, slate, glass and recycled objects.
A move to Ballyvaughan, Co. Clare some years ago has influenced her artwork. Living near the Burren, the dry stone walls, the karst landscape and the hazel woodland along with nature’s ever-changing light and textures, is reflected in her current body of work.
