Claire Kathryn Roche is a devoted screenwriter and an Ei Electronics Junior Technician currently living in Clarecastle, Co. Clare. Claire’s life ambition is to write, direct and produce a series of interlacing films focusing on Irish life and Mythology. Claire has successfully completed a Master’s Degree from the Huston School of Film & Digital Media, NUI Galway in Production and Direction.
Her first script, “Our Home” is based on her hometown of Kilkee, Co. Clare. It has garnered international recognition in screenplay competitions from all corners of the globe.
For example, winning first place in such competitions as the Lonely Wolf International Film Festival and the Vegas Movie Awards while also ranking in the Chicago Script Awards, Best Script Award – London, Santa Barbara International Screenplay Awards, SWN Screenplay Competition, the 2021 Richard Harris International Festival, and more.
