Contemporary Irish artist, Gina O’Connor, is a professional visual artist, based in Limerick and Kilkee, Co. Clare. Gina has exhibited and sold her paintings throughout Ireland and abroad. She works mainly in oils with palette knife and brush in a semi abstract style. Her vibrant landscape and seascape paintings are characterised by her multi-coloured marks which defines Gina’s unique and energetic style. In her work Gina aims to capture the motion and emotion of the West of Ireland and she is inspired by the surprise and delight she experiences when out and about on foot, on bike and swimming in the wild Atlantic seas.
