Kathleen Malone, residing in Doolin, Co. Clare, is the daughter of the late tenor Jerry Lynch and has deep roots in the Kilfenora Céilí band.
She recently ventured into writing and recording her own music and particularly loves writing songs about nature and her positive outlook on life.
She recorded her own album titled “My Island Home” in 2020 and all of the proceeds of this album went towards a charity very close to her heart- the Burren Chernobyl Project raising over €10,000.
Kathleen is currently the choirmaster for a local children’s Church choir. She sings for various events solo, and as part of a small female group called “Mná”. Kathleen also currently facilitates singing groups for Sing Ireland and Creative Places Shannon. Her passion to sing and love of music enables her to encourage other people to embrace their musical talents through facilitation.
