Nina Philips is a songwriter/musician and creator from Haarlem, NL. She comes from a family with immigrant backgrounds on both sides and naturally gravitates to a transient way of life.
The past three years have been spent traveling, living in Ireland and exploring different ways of creating, finding art form in jewelry making and floristry.
Last year she was granted an Arts Council Agility Award to develop her artistry, focussing on songwriting while also touring Ireland with her band ATKD.
She is currently in Ireland writing for a new solo project by the name of Margaux Would and in the middle of the creation process of Mandarin Hands, a new Dance Concert piece directed by Candela Murillo, co created by Nina Philips and Laura Philips.
Earlier work: various albums and tours with Haarlem based bands Rilan and the Bombardiers and All the king’s daughters.
