Noreen Ramsay is a visual artist living and working in Cratloe, Co Clare.
Her work is engaged with an exploration of the environment around her, focusing in on small details in the familiar surroundings of a semi rural landscape. She aims to draw attention to what is often unseen because it is so common, to give value to the ordinary.
Her primary medium is porcelain. She also works with glass, photography and textile.
She graduated from Limerick School of Art and Design in 2001 with an Honours BA.  She has exhibited regularly locally and nationally including Sculpture in Context, Ceramics Ireland and annually  since 2011 with Limerick Ceramic Artists of which she is a founding member. In 2017 she had a solo show “Fertile Rock” in Glor, Ennis.
She has been awarded an RDS craft award in ceramics.
