Róisín is a theatremaker, writer and arts manager based in Co Clare.
She’s interested in formal experiment and process-led work, and creates post-dramatic theatre by drawing on anti-drama and absurdity. She also writes prose and is particularly interested in the lyric essay form.
In addition to her creative practice, she worked extensively in the area of artist development for companies such as Druid, Galway Theatre Festival, Theatre57 and JOLT, and as a mentor and coach for independent artists in dance, theatre and YA.
She has been a selected artist on MAKE 2019, Tandem Cultural Capitals 2019/20 and was Theatre Artist in Residence at Nun’s Island Theatre Galway 2020. She was the Jerome Hynes Clore Fellow 2019/20.
