Ruth Wood is a visual artist based in West Clare. She is a graduate from the Limerick School of Art and Design and has a Master’s in History of Art from the University of Limerick.
She is a resident artist for many years with Kilbaha Gallery, Co. Clare. Her popular line of drawings and paintings are available from the gallery and also through her social media sites.
As a creative facilitator, Ruth shares her skill and experience to make a space for a diverse range of people to explore and communicate their unique visual expression.
She is a qualified trainer (QQI award) and has many years’ experience, winning numerous residency awards within different government funded schemes- working with children, older people, and people with disabilities.
Ruth is a professional member of Visual Artist Ireland (VAI)
