Therese McInerney is a traditional Irish fiddle player and singer from West Clare, currently based in Ennis. She holds an MA in Traditional Irish Music Performance from the University of Limerick.  Her work is primarily concerned with the promotion, preservation and performance of traditional music and song. She released her debut solo album “Down the Strand” in 2017 and will be releasing her latest album “The Youth That Belonged To Miltown” in July 2022 with Marian Curtin. She hosts the traditional music programme The West Wind on Clare FM every Tuesday night and is involved in the production of several traditional music programmes for TG4.
