Legendary Galway singer Don Stiffe will be joined by local woman Kate Purcell for our second concert on 28th December.
Don is one of the most powerful and unique singer/songwriters to emerge on the Irish Folk Scene in the past decade. He hails from Galway City and the clarity and richness of his voice and the emotion with which he delivers his songs, has been compared with the best ballad singers that Ireland has ever produced.
Kate hails from Feakle in Co. Clare and with her gorgeous voice she has shared the stage with notable top acts including Cherish the Ladies, Lunása, Mairin Fahy and The 4 of Us, touring Ireland, Holland, England and the USA
Don and Kate have toured together extensively with Cherish The Ladies and we are thrilled to host them in the Tea Room at Cnoc na Gaoithe during the festive Christmas Season.
