The Local Live Performance Scheme was initiated by the Department of Tourism, Culture, Arts, Gaeltacht, Sports and Media, in the summer of 2021 as a COVD measure to support the live music and arts sector. Each local authority was invited to programme live music events so as to support live music and technical crews.
Initially run from July 1st to September 30th 2021, due to its success it was extended to the end of 2021.
Phase III took place in early 2022 and Phase IV is currently running until the end of October 2022.
We are now taking proposals from Music Promoters and Musicians. The closing date is Friday, August 5th, 2022
