CWB are hosting “Fómhar”, a Spirit of Collaboration celebration of spoken word and music, with coming together to celebrate the Autumn Equinox in an evening concert in Killaloe.

The event will take place in St. Flannan’s Cathedral and will see performers of various artists come together in performance, similar to the community spirit of the autumn equinox harvest.

Glasshouse Ensemble will perform their Golden Hour set, which sees a line up of 2 singers, a string quartet, piano, bass and drums perform music by crowd favourites including Kate Bush, Bowie, Phoebe Bridgers, Prince, Big Thief, Bon Iver, Sufjan Stevens, LCD Soundsystem and others.

Supporting the Glasshouse Ensemble we have Clare’s own critically acclaimed Síomha performing an exclusive solo set, and poet and visual artist Fergus Costello.

Keeping with the theme of collaboration that comes with the second harvest, a rehearsal will be held with the artists earlier in the day, so come evening time they can perform some unique collaborations on stage.

Tickets priced at €15 available from Eventbrite 9am September 9th 2022.

Brought to you by Clare Arts Office with the support of the Department of Tourism, Culture, Arts, Gaeltacht, Media and Sport through the Live Local Performance Scheme.
