David studied sculpture at N.C.A.D. and Jungian psychology with art therapy and more recently a level 9 in Digital Entrepreneurship.

He has been a practicing artist for over twenty years, exhibiting both nationally and internationally.

David has worked with schools and in the area of art and disability for over 16 years. He is a multidisciplinary artist working with video, photography, painting, drawing and sculpture. His work with schools and other agencies has included murals, 3d drawing, sculptural figures and photography.

His most recent course of study led to researching the links between cognition and motor function due to increased levels of interaction with technology in children. Drawing is said to improve motor function with direct links to academic achievement. He specialises in online charcoal drawing classes with links to the drawing areas of the curriculum and with linkages into other subject areas like geography the built environment and maths .
