Over the last 20 years Clare Arts Office has created artist studios in Tulla, Ennistymon and Ennis.

The studios support artists, primarily visual artists, in making work in Clare, and offer artists the opportunity to work close to home, developing their practice on a 24 hour basis.

We currently have vacancies in Tulla and EASI. Closing date for applications is June 24th, 2021

The Courthouse Gallery and Studios

The goal at The Courthouse Studios is to provide affordable works spaces for professional and emergin

g artists living and working in North Clare, and to visiting artists through the  International Residency programme.

Many of past artists have established careers in the arts, while others are emerging in their chosen disciplines.

The Courthouse Gallery & Studios houses

  • 4  studios for visual artists –  €150 per month inclusive of all utilities etc.
  • 2 gallery spaces
  • a multi-function room

Tulla Stables Studios

The Tulla Stables Studios is a multi award winning studio resource for artists. It comprises of

  • 6 studios each with power and water-  €185 per month inclusive of all utilities etc.
  • 1 studio housing a kiln that is accessed by other artists – €125 per month inclusive of all utilities etc.
  • Shared Bathroom / Shower facilities are available

EASI Studios, Ennis

Ennis Artists Studios Initiative was developed by the Clare Arts Office in response to the need for artists /arts organisations workspaces in Ennis.

Based in Tracklands, Tobartoascáin, Ennis it comprises of

  • 7 shared studios – €145 per month inclusive of all utilities etc.
  • 2 independent units – €185 per month inclusive of all utilities etc.
  •  space for group work / exhibitions etc.
